It’s obviously working well because I keep falling to sleep and not hearing the end of it.
For context, sleep has always been an issue for me.
I often take over an hour to get to sleep or more. I struggle to turn my brain off even with meditation, etc.
So this is big, and I’m super grateful.

No. You remain aware and in control throughout. Clinical hypnotherapy is not stage hypnosis, and you cannot be made to do or say anything against your values or wishes. Most people describe the experience as deeply relaxed, focused and natural.
Most people can engage well with hypnosis. It is not about having a special ability; it is about willingness, focus and feeling safe enough to engage with the process. You do not have to do it perfectly for hypnotherapy to be helpful
